The Rose & Crown serves a selection of real ales, traditional cider and lagers and has a wine list and soft drink selection to suit all tastes, young and old.

A full menu is available everyday both lunchtimes and evenings except Sunday, with traditional roast lunch served Sunday 12 - 3pm.

Whether out for a ramble on any of the nearby walks or cycling on the old roman road all are welcome to stop in and try our light bites or main menu selection. Dogs are always welcome in the bar and garden.

Both Matthew and Imelda are experienced licensees in previous family pubs and will offer all who enter a warm welcome, and will do their utmost to accommodate your requirements.

Food is served throughout the bar, lounge, garden and the refurbished Rose Room.

Having lived in the village for some years now with their children, this family are welcoming and involved in village life. The pub has seen a lot of changes and work is still ongoing to enrich this beautiful old building and to improve the service to our customers new and old.
